PGR - US NAVY Veteran Carmen Mastroieni - SJVNC

Pics are from top to bottom, click on a pic for a larger pic, text for a pic is under it.

The family of our hero asked PGR to honor their fallen, and an honor it was!  The day started out a bit cool and turned out very nice.   An uneventful run over 152 and little wait for the service.

We had 8 scoots and our RG's did a fine job of shepherding us along the route.  We got into a little traffic going over the pass from slow trucks but all worked out fine.  I was tailgunner and after the pass a van came up behind me with blinkers on, they must've gotten hung up during passing, and I'm ashamed to say I did not see them when passing.  I moved over and waved them in and on for the rest of the trip.

When I arrived at the beginning of the service, we had an unusual request, please park on the sidewalk, why not?!

Sgtmaj stationed in front to be flag bike leader.

Another shot, in front of the church.

The group visiting while waiting for the service to conclude.

Nice uneventful trip and we had very little wait for the service to begin.  View of the procession from my vantage point.  The van in front of Ruby was the one that joined us after the pass.

This struck me as picture worthy,  dead sock flag.  Very few cemetery's are not with a good wind.  ... OK, almost never.  I have seen it a few times, and a picture was needed!

View from the front.....

Thanks to Sgtmaj and Buzz for taking leadership, and one other that I can't remember the name that helped Buzz with RG duties.
